Good value for money with a delicious breakfast

The hotel had a suitable location that fit with our plans. The scenery was nice, we took a walk by the nearby lake. The rooms and breakfast were very good value for money. Beds were comfortable and bath was nice. We didn't try the pool/spa, but it was good to have that option.

Very Good.

I liked the area. Beautiful park across the street. Walking distance to everything. The breakfast was fantastic, so much to choose from. Separate space for gluten free items and special toaster and knives(I am Coeliac). Loved pool and sauna. Really liked the separate recycling bins in the room. Loads of lovely white towels, shampoo etc as well. Safe, as well as a fridge, all good. Bed was comfy. The little clothes line over the bath was great for drying swim suit!

I know I can't have everything and breakfast was soooo good, but I'm Irish, I like tea but €6 a cup? That is criminal. I missed the kettle and stuff in bedroom. That's all.

Wonderful

Friendly staff, very helpful when we needed to extension the stay due to bad weather conditions. Very good breakfast.

Construction work at the main road in front of the hotel (paused due to winter time) resulted in non-served Tram route station. Well, not a fault of the hotel but I expected it with the knowledge from earlier stays in Helsinki

Very Good

The bathroom design is hopeless, shower screen is useless, water will sip under the screen and flood the bathroom. Light in the bathroom cannot be turned off at night!!!! If it is for safety reasons, a light not so bright would be great. Overall, it is an expensive place to stay, b'fast is good.

My overall experience was superb

The staff are friendly. I reserved my next stay at the hotel as soon as I checked in yesterday. Breakfast good and amenities were pleasant except for the toilet paper which was obviously from the previous guest because there was only half of it left and as someone who previously worked in the hotel industry I knew that we replaced unfinished tissue paper guest check out. I felt that a bit odd.

Wonderful

I really like this hotel , The location is amazing . Rooms are great , clean and comfortable. The swimming pool is a great space , with a sauna , and the views are very nice . Breakfast has a lot of options, and you have a soft place for kids next to restaurant, which is great .

Wonderful

Room was really big, comfy beds and comfortable furniture arrangement. Helpful and friendly staff. Tasty breakfast , plenty of food choices. Even though we travelled by car, we decided to reach city center on foot/by tram - though the hotel is quite far from center, it took us 15-20minutes to center, as public transport near hotel is really easy accessible.

We lacked heater in the bathroom, and our car did not fit (because of the roof rack) to the hotel garage (but the staff were very helpful to find the parking place nearby (about 50€/day))

As expected. Wanted to be near opera and tram lines.

Great location near opera.

The room was not made up At all on 3 days and extremely late on the others. By the time they were at my door in mid or late afternoon I had been out most of the day and ready for a nap. Also did not check on hair dryer not working despite 2 requests. Staff all very pleasant.

I have re-booked this hotel for another break in April, which says it all!

Fourth time I have stayed here. The staff are always very friendly, the rooms are well heated and very clean and the location is just a ten minute walk to the city centre.

I find it very hard to find fault with this hotel.

Very Good

The breakfast options were good and diverse (including healthy shoots, natural aromated water, smoothies etc). Bed was comfortable, no noises. 15 min walking from the center.

No logistics for going to the sauna (bathrobe etc) A lot of road constructions in front of the hotel, but seemed to be in all city center area. I would have wished the sauna to be open a bit later, dough 7-22 is already good.

Good for the money.

Modern amenities and friendly staff!

"Double" bed, was two singles, with two single duvets pushed together, which was uncomfortable for us as a couple that booked a double room. The mattress kept parting in the night, which made it worse.

Cozy and welcoming

Terrific location and very welcoming staff! We also made use of the pool and sauna, which made our stay even more pleasant.

Although the breakfast was solid and yummy, might've been nice to have a few more additional options (perhaps in terms of the fish selection and coffee options).

A great base for visiting Helsinki

We appreciated a warm and friendly welcome upon arrival. We were very jet lagged by the time we arrived. All of the reception staff we met were most helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was very extensive and we enjoyed it.

Unfortunately the safe in our room was faulty and we only discovered this after having fully unpacked. It was quite an effort, after so many hours of flying to have to pack up and move rooms. However we appreciated the efforts of reception staff to make things right. They upgraded us to a slightly larger room. On the last day, when we’d run out of handwash, we returned after 1.30 pm to find our room hadn’t been cleaned. We asked at reception. Disappointing that we had to ask. Housekeeping returned to clean the room late in the afternoon, by which time we needed to pack and rest for a very early start the next morning.
